HE WAS one of the main players of the irresistable Olympique Lyonnais side that won seven straight French Ligue One titles from 2002 to 2008.
And now, former France winger Sidney Govou has his sights on Singapore football.
The 31-year-old was recently made an ambassador for S-League champions Etoile and will be in Singapore from Wednesday to Saturday to conduct football clinics for kids.
In this exclusive interview from Lyon, Govou tells TNP how he became linked to Etoile, what he thinks of Singapore football, and whether he would consider playing in the S-League as his career winds down to a close.
