Please note that Match No.48 of the Great Eastern-YEO’S S.League 2011, to be contested between the Courts Young Lions and Woodlands Wellington on 10 April 2011 at Jalan Besar Stadium, has been abandoned due to inclement weather.
The match was suspended after 22 minutes, after lightning had been sighted in the vicinity of the match, in accordance with Great Eastern-YEO’S S.League safety procedures.
Following a wait of 45 minutes, in accordance with the abovementioned safety procedures, match officials determined that weather conditions were unsuitable for the continuation of the match.
This is the second time this match has been abandoned. The original match on 9 April 2011 had been abandoned at half-time due to inclement weather as well.
A new date for this fixture will be rearranged in due course.
Ticket stubs for both iterations of the match will remain valid for the rescheduled match. Spectators are advised to hold on to your ticket stubs for admission to the rescheduled match.
