SINGAPORE is back in the Malaysia Cup after an absence of 16 years, the football associations of both countries announced today.
A new-look team, the Singapore Lions, will play in the Malaysian League from next season.
The team will comprise of national U23 players, senior stars and foreigners.
Harimau Muda A to play in S League from 2012 to 2015, 'Singapore Lions' team to do the same in Malaysian Super League.
Both squads to have 25 U23 players + option of 5 local seniors + option of foreigners.
Also it works is an FAM-FAS series - S League champions vs Malaysian Super League Champions + Singapore Cup winners vs Malaysian Cup winners
