Singapore football legends to play charity game to kick off President’s Challenge

Singapore football legends like Quah Kim Song, Robert Sim and R Suriamurthi will play in a charity football game to kick start this year’s President’s Challenge.

The President’s Challenge is an annual series of community-based activities to rally Singaporeans to get involved and extend a helping hand towards the less fortunate and needy in Singapore. The Singapore Totalisator Board and Singapore Pools are the Challenge Sponsors for all President’s Challenge events.

President’s Challenge 2011 hopes to raise at least $8 million. Over the last 11 years of fund-raising, the President’s Challenge has successfully raised over $100 million for more than 500 beneficiaries since it was founded in 2000.

President S R Nathan will be in attendance and admission is free for the first 800 entrants.
