19 January 2011 updates

15 January:

  • Friendly Geylang United 3 Pahang FA 1 - The goal scorers of Geylang were the trialists of the club - Joel Wood (2) and Alek Sandro Beric

    Meanwhile, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) are in talks with four-time German Bundesliga champions Werder Bremen for a similar stint there. 
    The team, who were coached by former Singapore international Kadir Yahaya and led by defender Jeffrey Lightfoot, impressed Bremen's former club president Wilfried Lemke when he was here for the Games, in particular midfielder Ammirul Emmran, and requested videos of him.
