Young fans eagerly awaiting the Lion City Cup organize a small flash mob

Numerous Singapore football fans, eagerly awaiting the Lion City Cup, decided to kick things off by organizing a small flash mob last weekend to raise awareness for the tournament.
Travelling from Orchard to the CBD, the fans took part in activities such as mock penalty shoot outs and sang anthems in support of Singapore and their favorite teams.
This year's edition, the competition's 23rd, will feature two youth teams from Singapore as well as four youth sides from some of the most prestigious teams in the world. This year, teams from Newcastle United, Everton FC, CR Flamengo, and Juventus will be joining the competition.
The Lion City Cup is the tournament that unearthed Singapore's biggest stars, such as Fandi Ahmad, V. Sundramoorthy, Indra Sahdan and Hariss Harun.
The first fixtures will be played on June 18th, and the finals will be held on the 26th.
