Singapore: AFC Cup 2011 Group G joint-leaders Tampines Rovers will play the cancelled S.League fixture with Woodlands Wellington on April 4, a crucial run of three domestic matched for the Stags in the run up to their continental clash Hanoi T&T.
Tampines’ game against Woodlands on March 21 was called off after 16 minutes play due to inclement weather and the rescheduled fixture comes three days after their top-of-the-table meeting with Home United.
Tampines moved into second place in the S.League standings on Thursday with a 1-0 victory of Singapore Armed Forces that took them level on points with Home, although the 2004 AFC Cup quarter-finalists moved three clear on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Woodlands in Yishun.
Rovers take on the Home on April 1 and could go three clear at the top of the S.League if they defeat the Protectors and win their game in hand against Woodlands three days later.
Steven Tan’s side then face defending champions Etoile on April 8 in their last domestic fixture before facing Hanoi T&T in Vietnam on April 12.
